    Your comments are very timely. I recently made a presentation on the same subject to a large property management group in Toronto.

    We focused on such simple ideas as having spare fuses on hand and more complex projects such as connecting the booster pumps to the emergency generator to allow for water to the upper floors in the event of a power outage.

    As you mentioned, emergency preparedness is a very multifaceted concept.
